Online statements are also as legally binding as paper statements and acceptable for all tax and legal proceedings.

Expand How do I switch to online-only statements?

Switching to online-only statements for your checking, savings or money market accounts is easy.

  1. Log in to Online Banking
  2. Select Online Statement Settings from the left navigation
  3. Select Online Statements for the account(s) you would like to enroll
  4. Confirm or update your e-mail address for notifications
  5. Read and accept the Online Statement Customer Agreement and Hardware and Software Requirements
  6. Click the Save Changes button

You can change your statement setting for your account(s) anytime by going to the Online Statements Settings link when you log in to Online Banking.

Expand How do I switch to online-only notices?

It's easy to switch to online-only notices for any or all of the following checking account notices: overdraft, overdraft protection and stop payment.

You can log in to Online Banking for direct access to your Online Notices Settings where you can turn off paper notices. Or, the next time you log in to Online Banking, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to Online Banking
  2. Select Online Notices Settings from the left navigation
  3. Select which notices you want to receive online only
  4. Confirm or update your e-mail address for notifications
  5. Read and accept the Hardware and Software Requirements
  6. Click the Save Changes button

You can change your setting for any of your account notices anytime by going to the Online Notices Settings link when you log in to Online Banking.

Expand Which account notices are available online?

You can view any overdraft, overdraft protection and stop payment notices for your checking account(s) online by going to the Statements & Notices tab when you log in to Online Banking.

When you choose to receive any or all of your notices online only, you will receive an e-mail when a notice is posted in Online Banking.

Expand Do I need to be enrolled in Online Banking to get online statements and notices?

Yes. Online statements and notices are only available via Online Banking. For security purposes, we do not e-mail account statements or notices to customers. If you choose not to enroll in Online Banking, you will continue to receive your statements and notices via regular mail.

Expand Do I need special software to view online statements and notices?

Yes. You need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and save online statements and notices, which are PDF files. If you do not have it, get the latest version for free at http://get.adobe.com/reader/.*

Expand Why do I have to enter my e-mail address when I sign up for online-only statements and notices?

When you sign up to receive online-only statements and notices, you receive an e-mail when your latest statement or notice is available for viewing.

Expand Does it cost anything to get online statements and notices?

No. Online statements and notices are free. Plus, you can request a paper copy of a statement(s) issued within the past 7 years at any time.

  1. Log in to Online Banking. On the Customer Service tab, under Self Service, select Statement Copy and provide the required information.

  3. Visit your local TD Bank
Expand How far back can I see my account statements or notices in Online Banking?

Statements issued on or after April 2010 are available online for up to 7 years. Notices issued on or after March 2015 are available online for up to 7 years. To view your statements and notices:

  1. Log in to Online Banking
  2. Select the account
  3. Click the Statements & Notices tab and follow the instructions provided

A paper copy of a statement(s) issued within the past 7 years can be requested online, by phone or in person.

If you have elected to receive online-only statements or notices, an e-mail is sent to your e-mail address when a new statement or notice is posted to your Online Banking account. Statements issued on or after April 2010, and notices issued on or after March 2015, are available for you to view, print, download or save anytime for up to 7 years.
